Your brain On Your Computer.

I have heard people say that the human brain is much more powerful than any PC. And that if the power of the human brain could be harnessed, it could serve as the ultimate computer. Well, that might be true, but considering some of these facts, I'd rather use a PC to balance my checkbook any day.

The human brain has the capability of storing the entire library of congress and a lifetime of experiences, but when asked to recall the whereabouts of a set of keys it locks up.

The human brain has more computing power than the fastest PC, but most cannot handle numbers with more than two digits.

The human brain is able to deduct reason and arrive at a logical solution, but doesn't come with a back up battery, so it must shutdown eight hours every day for recharging.

The human brain is free from millennium bugs, but sometimes cannot recall the day of the week, let alone the time of day.

The human brain will never give you an out of memory error, but it forgets what it was doing in the meantime.

The human brain is able to beat the most powerful computer on the planet in a game of chess, but has a difficult time deciding what to wear in the morning.

The human brain's peripherals such as eyes, ears, nose, nerves and tongue are much more enhanced than any computer peripheral, they just refuses to see, hear, smell, feel or taste half of the input.

All in all, you might say that the human brain has a mind of its own.
